and they were scattered abroad upon the face of all the earth, Yea, and even from that time until the creation of Adam-
"Now, we see that Adam did fall by partaking of the forbidden fruit, according to the word of God; And thus we see that by his fall that all mankind became a lost and a fallen people.
"And now behold I say unto you, that if it had been possible for Adam for to have partaken of the fruit of the tree of life at that time, that there would have been no death and the word would have been void, making God a liar, For He said: 'If thou eat thereof, thou shalt surely die.'
Now when Ammon had said these words, he began to the creation of the world, and also to the creation of Adam, And told him all the things concerning the fall of man;
And it came to pass that when Aaron saw that the king would believe his words, he began from the creation of Adam, reading the scriptures unto the king- How God created man after His own image, And that God gave him commandments, And that because of transgression, man had fallen.
And Aaron did expound unto him the scriptures from the creation of Adam, Laying the fall of man before him, and their carnal state, And also the plan of redemption which was prepared from the foundation of the world through Christ for all whosoever would believe on His name;
Behold, I say unto you, Nay, But it meaneth the reuniting of the soul with the body of those from the days of Adam down to the resurrection of Christ.
For behold, if Adam had put forth his hand immediately and partook of the tree of life, He would have lived forever, according to the word of God, having no space for repentance;
Yea, behold, this death bringeth to pass the resurrection and redeemeth all mankind from the first death-that spiritual death, For all mankind-by the fall of Adam, being cut off from the presence of the Lord-are considered as dead, both as to things temporal and to things spiritual.
And for this cause I write unto you: That ye may know that ye must all stand before the judgment seat of Christ, yea, every soul which belongs to the whole human family of Adam;
Behold, He created Adam, And by Adam, came the fall of man, And because of the fall of man, came Jesus Christ, even the Father and the Son, And because of Jesus Christ, came the redemption of man,
And as I suppose that the first part of this record which speaketh concerning the creation of the world, and also of Adam- And an account from that time, even to the Great Tower, And whatsoever things transpired among the children of men until that time-is had among the Jews,
Therefore, I do not write those things which transpired from the days of Adam until that time, But they are had upon the plates; And whoso findeth them, the same will have power that he may get the full account.
Behold, I came into the world, not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance; The whole need no physician, but they that are sick; Wherefore, little children are whole, for they are not capable of committing sin; Wherefore, the curse of Adam is taken from them in Me, that it hath no power over them; And the law of circumcision is done away in Me.'
Behold, I would exhort you that when ye shall read these things-if it be wisdom in God that ye should read them- That ye would remember how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men from the creation of Adam, even down until the time that ye shall receive these things, And ponder it in your hearts.
