"And now we only wait to hear the joyful news- declared unto us by the mouth of angels of His coming, for the time cometh, we know not how soon;
"And it shall be made known unto just and holy men by the mouth of angels at the time of His coming, That the words of our fathers might be fulfilled according to that which they have spoken concerning Him, which was according to the spirit of prophecy which was in them.
And Ammon saith unto him: "The heavens is a place where God dwells and all His holy angels."
And behold, many did declare unto the people that they had seen angels and had conversed with them; And thus they had told them things of God and of His righteousness.
"What is that, that thou hast testified? Hast thou seen an angel? Why do not angels appear unto us? Behold, are not this people as good as thy people? Thou also sayest except we repent, we shall perish;
Yea, and He hath made these things known unto us beforehand because He loveth our souls, as well as He loveth our children; Therefore, in His mercy He doth visit us by His angels, that the plan of salvation might be made known unto us, as well as unto future generations; O how merciful is our God!
Now when Ammon and his brethren saw this work of destruction among those who they so dearly beloved and among those who had so dearly beloved them- for they were treated as though they were angels sent from God to save them from everlasting destruction-
"And now, He imparteth His word by angels unto men- yea, not only men, but women also;

And it came to pass that he turned him about, And behold, he saw through the cloud of darkness the faces of Nephi and Lehi; And behold, they did shine exceedingly, even as the face of angels;
Now the man's name was Aminadab; And Aminadab saith unto them: "They do converse with the angels of God."
And now when they heard this, they cast up their eyes as if to behold from whence the voice came; And behold, they saw the heavens open, And angels came down out of heaven and ministered unto them;
"Behold, I declare it unto thee in the presence of Mine angels, That ye shall have power over this people and shall smite the earth with famine and with pestilence and destruc- tion, according to the wickedness of this people.
'Behold, we are surrounded by demons, Yea, we are encircled about by the angels of him who hath sought to destroy our souls;
And angels did appear unto men-wise men-and did declare unto them glad tidings of great joy; And thus in this year the scriptures began to be fulfilled.
