2 Nephi 11:54
For the right way is to believe in Christ and deny Him not, For by denying Him ye also deny the prophets and the law.
Know ye not, my son, that these things are an abomination in the sight of the Lord? Yea, most abominable above all sins, save it be the shedding of innocent blood or denying the Holy Ghost.
Do not endeavor to excuse yourself in the least point because of your sins, by denying the justice of God, But do you let the justice of God and His mercy and His longsuffering have full sway in your heart, But let it bring you down to the dust in humility.
And thus it became expedient that this law should be strictly observed for the safety of their country; Yea, and whosoever was found denying their freedom was speedily executed according to the law.

But it is mockery before God! denying the mercies of Christ and the power of His Holy Spirit and putting trust in dead works.
"But behold, I fear lest the Spirit hath ceased striving with them; And in this part of the land they are also seeking to put down all power and authority which cometh from God, And they are denying the Holy Ghost;
