And as many as entered into a covenant, they suffered to depart into the wilderness.
And it came to pass that he took the weapons of war from the Lamanites; And after they had entered into a covenant with him of peace, they were suffered to depart into the wilderness.
And it came to pass that Moronihah took possession of the City of Zarahemla again, And caused that the Lamanites which had been taken prisoners should depart out of the land in peace.
3 Nephi 3:16
And they would not depart from it, for they were firm and steadfast and immovable, willing with all diligence to keep the commands of the Lord.
