Jacob 2:32 For behold, thus saith the Lord: "This people beginneth to wax in iniquity; They understand not the scriptures, For they seek to excuse themselves in committing whoredoms because of the things which were written concerning David and Solomon his son.
Jacob 3:84 And because that it hath brought forth so much evil fruit, Thou beholdest that it beginneth to perish, And it will soon become ripened that it may be cast into the fire, except We should do something for it to preserve it.'

Alma 16:170 But if ye will nourish the word - Yea, nourish the tree as it beginneth to grow, by your faith with great diligence and with patience - looking forward to the fruit thereof, And it shall take root; And behold, it shall be a tree springing up unto everlasting life!
