1 Nephi 1:4 Wherefore, it came to pass that my father Lehi, as he went forth, prayed unto the Lord, yea, even with all his heart, in behalf of his people.

Ether 5:36 And it came to pass that I prayed unto the Lord that He would give unto the Gentiles grace that they might have charity.
Moroni 3:2 After they had prayed unto the Father in the name of Christ, they laid their hands upon them and said: "In the name of Jesus Christ I ordain you to be a priest" - Or if he be a teacher, "I ordain you to be a teacher" - "To preach repentance and remission of sins through Jesus Christ by the endurance of faith on His name to the end. Amen."
