1 Nephi 1:Intro An account of Lehi and his wife Sariah and his four sons, being called, beginning at the eldest, Laman, Lemuel, Sam and Nephi. The Lord warns Lehi to depart out of the Land of Jerusalem because he prophesieth unto the people concerning their iniquity and they seek to destroy his life.He taketh three days' journey into the wilderness with his family.Nephi taketh his brethren and returns to the Land of Jerusalem after the record of the Jews. The account of their sufferings.They take the daughters of Ishmael to wife.They take their families and depart into the wilderness. 1 Nephi 1:25 And because thou hast been faithful and declared unto this people the things which I commanded thee, Behold, they seek to take away thy life."

Alma 15:1 Now it came to pass that when the Lamanites which had gone to war against the Nephites had found - after their many struggles for to destroy them - that it was in vain to seek their destruction, they returned again to the Land of Nephi.
Alma 15:3 And when they saw that they could not seek revenge from the Nephites, they began to stir up the people in anger against their brethren, the people of Anti-Nephi-Lehi; Therefore, they began again to destroy them.
Alma 17:7 But behold, the voice said unto me, "Arise!" And I arose and stood up and beheld the angel, And he said unto me: "If thou wilt of thyself be destroyed, seek no more to destroy the church of God!"

Helaman 2:93 And it came to pass that there came a voice as if it were above the cloud of darkness, saying: "Repent ye, repent ye! And seek no more to destroy My servants which I have sent unto you to declare good tidings!"
Helaman 2:96 And behold, the voice came again, saying: "Repent ye, repent ye! for the kingdom of heaven is at hand; And seek no more to destroy My servants!"
Helaman 2:140 Yea, they began to seek to get gain that they might be lifted up one above another; Therefore, they began to commit secret murders and to rob and to plunder, that they might get gain.

3 Nephi 2:76 And when they had hanged him until he was dead, they did fell the tree to the earth and did cry with a loud voice, saying: "May the Lord preserve His people in righteousness and in holiness of heart! That they may cause to be felled to the earth all who shall seek to slay them because of power and secret combinations, even as this man hath been felled to the earth."
3 Nephi 3:17 Now the cause of this iniquity of the people was this: Satan had great power unto the stirring up of the people to do all manner of iniquity, And to the puffing them up with pride, tempting them to seek for power and authority and riches and the vain things of the world.
3 Nephi 6:11 But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, And all these things shall be added unto you;

4 Nephi 1:34 Nevertheless, and notwithstanding all these miracles, the people did harden their hearts and did seek to kill them, even as the Jews at Jerusalem sought to kill Jesus, according to His word;
