1 Nephi 3:12 And after that he had baptized the Messiah with water, he should behold and bear record that he had baptized the Lamb of God which should take away the sin of the world.
2 Nephi 1:72 Behold, He offereth Himself a sacrifice for sin to answer the ends of the law unto all those which have a broken heart and a contrite spirit, And unto none else can the ends of the law be answered.

Moroni 8:11 "Behold, I say unto you that this thing shall ye teach: Repentance and baptism unto they which are accountable and capable of committing sin; Yea, teach parents that they must repent and be baptized and humble themselves as their little children, And they shall all be saved with their little children; And their little children need no repentance, neither baptism.
