Words of Mormon 1:18 And now, concerning this King Benjamin: he had somewhat contentions among his own people.
Mosiah 6:18 Yea, and it came to pass that they fled, all that were not overtaken, even into the city of Nephi, and did call upon me for protection.
Mosiah 6:19 And it came to pass that I did arm them with bows, and with arrows, with swords, and with cimeters, and with clubs, and with slings, and with all manner of weapons which we could invent, and I and my people did go forth against the Lamanites, to battle;
Mosiah 6:34 And it came to pass that King Laman died, and his son began to rein in his stead.
Mosiah 6:39 And it came to pass that I caused that the women and children of my people should be hid in the wilderness;
Mosiah 6:40 And I also caused that all my old men that could bear arms, and also all my young men that were able to bear arms, should gather themselves together, to go to battle against the Lamanites; and I did place them in their ranks, every man according to his age.
Mosiah 6:41 And it came to pass that we did go up to battle against the Lamanites.
Mosiah 6:42 And I, even I, in my old age, did go up to battle against the Lamanites.
Mosiah 6:54 For this very cause has King Laman, by his cunning and lying craftiness, and his fair promises, deceived me, that I have brought this, my people, up into this land, that they may destroy them; yea, and we have suffered this many years in the land.

Alma 1:122 And it came to pass that there was an army sent to drive them out of their land.
Alma 7:33 Having been saved from famine, and from sickness, and all manner of diseases of every kind;
Alma 15:36 And now it came to pass that after the people of Ammon were established in the land of Jershon, and a church also established in the land of Jershon; and the armies of the Nephites were set round about the land of Jershon; yea, in all the borders round about the land of Zarahemla; behold the armies of the Lamanites had followed their brethren into the wilderness.
Alma 20:29 Now Moroni, leaving a part of his army in the land of Jershon, lest by any means, a part of the Lamanites should come into that land and take possession of the city, took the remainder part of his army and marched over into the land of Manti.
Alma 20:63 Ye know that ye are in our hands, yet we do not desire to slay you.
Alma 21:63 Now Moroni thought it was not expedient that the Lamanites should have any more strength; therefore he thought to cut off the people of Amalickiah, or to take them and bring them back, and put Amalickiah to death;
Alma 21:77 But there were many who died with old age; and those who died in the faith of Christ, are happy in him, as we must needs suppose.
Alma 21:78 Now we will return in our record, to Amalickiah and those who had fled with him into the wilderness: for behold, he had taken those who went with him, and went up into the land of Nephi, among the Lamanites, and did stir up the Lamanites to anger against the people of Nephi, insomuch that the king of the Lamanites, sent a proclamation throughout all his land, among all his people, that they should gather themselves together again, to go to battle against the Nephites.
Alma 21:85 And they had appointed a man to be a king and a leader over them, being fixed in their minds with a determined resolution that they would not be subjected to go against the Nephites.
Alma 21:86 And it came to pass that they had gathered themselves together upon the top of the mount which was called Antipas in preparation to battle.
Alma 21:101 And it came to pass that Amalickiah marched with his armies (for he had gained his desires) to the land of Nephi, to the city of Nephi, which was the chief city.
Alma 21:124 And thus he did inspire their hearts against the Nephites, insomuch, that in the latter end of the nineteenth year of the reign of the Judges, he having accomplished his designs thus far; yea, having been made king over the Lamanites, he sought also to reign over all the land;
Alma 21:157 But behold, to their uttermost astonishment, they were prepared for them, in a manner which never had been known among all the children of Lehi.
Alma 21:160 Now if King Amalickiah had come down out of the land of Nephi, at the head of his army, perhaps he would have caused the Lamanites to have attacked the Nephites at the city of Ammonihah; for behold, he did care not for the blood of his people.
Alma 21:166 But behold, to their astonishment, the city of Noah, which had hitherto been a weak place, had now, by the means of Moroni, become strong; yea, even to exceed the strength of the city Ammonihah.
Alma 22:36 And it came to pass that the army which was sent by Moroni, which was led by a man whose name was Teancum, did meet the people of Morianton;
Alma 23:10 But behold, this was a critical time for such contentions to be among the people of Nephi; for behold, Amalickiah had again stirred up the hearts of the people of the Lamanites, against the people of the Nephites, and he was gathering together soldiers, from all parts of his land, and arming them, and preparing for war, with all diligence, for he had sworn to drink the blood of Moroni.
Alma 23:15 And it was in the twenty and fifth year of the reign of the Judges; and it was at the same time that they had begun to settle the affairs of their contentions concerning the chief judge, Pahoran.
Alma 23:22 And it came to pass that the armies did march forth against them; and they did pull down their pride and their nobility, insomuch, that as they did lift their weapons of war to fight against the men of Moroni, they were hewn down, and leveled to the earth.
Alma 23:29 And it came to pass that Amalickiah took possession of the city; yea, possession of all their fortifications.
Alma 23:30 And those who fled out of the city of Moroni, came to the city of Nephihah; and also the people of the city of Lehi gathered themselves together, and made preparations, and were ready to receive the Lamanites to battle.
Alma 23:44 And thus ended the twenty and fifth year of the reign of the Judges over the people of Nephi; and thus ended the days of Amalickiah.
Alma 24:21 And it came to pass that Moroni did arrive with his army to the land of Bountiful, in the latter end of the twenty and seventh year of the reign of the Judges over the people of Nephi.
Alma 24:40 And Moroni commanded his men that they should fall upon them, until they had given up their weapons of war.
Alma 24:59 And it came to pass that Moroni had thus gained a victory over one of the greatest of the armies of the Lamanites, and had obtained possession of the city Mulek, which was one of the strongest holds of the Lamanites in the land of Nephi; and thus he had also built a stronghold to retain his prisoners.
Alma 25:11 But behold, it supposeth me that I talk to you concerning these things in vain; or it supposeth me that thou art a child of hell; therefore, I will close my epistle, by telling you that I will not exchange prisoners, save it be on conditions that ye will deliver up a man, and his wife, and his children, for one prisoner; if this be the case that ye will do it, I will exchange.
Alma 25:36 Now when the Lamanites heard these words, they received him with joy. And they said unto him, Give us of your wine, that we may drink; we are glad that ye have thus taken wine with you, for we are weary.
Alma 26:18 And now they were determined to conquer in this place, or die; therefore you may well suppose that this little force which I brought with me, yea, those sons of mine, gave them great hopes and much joy.
Alma 26:51 But it came to pass that they did not pursue us far, before they halted; and it was in the morning of the third day, on the seventh month.
Alma 26:58 And it came to pass that I did return with my two thousand, against these Lamanites who had pursued us.
Alma 26:76 And now behold, we were strong; yea, and we had also a plenty of provisions brought unto us.
Alma 26:125 But behold, this did not profit us but little: for the Lamanites were also receiving great strength, from day to day, and also many provisions; and thus were our circumstances at this period of time.
Alma 26:135 And it came to pass that on the morrow, that when the Lamanites saw that we were in the borders by the wilderness which was near the city, that they sent out their spies round about us, that they might discover the number and the strength of our army.
Alma 26:136 And it came to pass that when they saw that we were not strong, according to our numbers, and fearing that we should cut them off from their support, except they should come out to battle against us, and kill us,
Alma 26:138 And when we saw that they were making preparations to come out against us, behold, I caused that Gid, with a small number of men, should secrete himself in the wilderness, and also that Teomner should, with a small number of men, secrete themselves also in the wilderness.
Alma 27:4 And it came to pass when Moroni had sent this epistle to the land of Zarahemla, he began again to lay a plan, that he might obtain the remainder of those possessions and cities which the Lamanites had taken from them.

Alma 28:7 And behold, I have sent a proclamation throughout this part of the land; and behold, they are flocking to us daily, to their arms, in the defense of their country, and their freedom, and to avenge our wrongs.
Alma 29:6 And thus when Moroni had gathered together whatsoever men he could in all his march, he came to the land of Gideon; and uniting his forces with that of Pahoran, they became exceeding strong, even stronger than the men of Pachus, who was the king of those dissenters who had driven out the freemen out of the land of Zarahemla, and had taken possession of the land.
Alma 29:21 And it came to pass that when they had come to the city Nephihah, they did pitch their tents in the plains of Nephihah, which is near the city Nephihah.
Helaman 1:14 And all this was done, in the fortieth year of the reign of the Judges; and it had an end.
Helaman 1:17 Therefore the king of the Lamanites, whose name was Tubaloth, who was the son of Ammoron, supposing that Coriantumr, being a mighty man, could stand against the Nephites, insomuch with his strength and also with his great wisdom, that by sending him forth, he should gain power over the Nephites;
Helaman 1:30 But when Moronihah had discovered this, he immediately sent forth Lehi with an army round about to head them, before they should come to the land Bountiful.
Helaman 1:31 And thus he did; and he did head them, before they came to the land Bountiful, and gave unto them battle insomuch that they began to retreat back towards the land of Zarahemla.
Helaman 2:37 But it came to pass in the fifty and sixth year of the reign of the Judges, there were dissenters who went up from the Nephites unto the Lamanites; and they succeeded with those others in stirring them up to anger against the Nephites; and they were all that year preparing for war.

3 Nephi 2:4 And it seemeth a pity unto me, most noble Lachoneus, that ye should be so foolish and vain as to suppose that ye can stand against so many brave men, who are at my command, who do now at this time stand in their arms, and do await, with great anxiety, for the word, Go down upon the Nephites and destroy them.
3 Nephi 2:5 And I, knowing of their unconquerable spirit, having proved them in the field of battle, and knowing of their everlasting hatred towards you, because of the many wrongs which ye have done unto them, therefore if they should come down against you, they would visit you with utter destruction;
3 Nephi 2:35 And they did dwell in one land, and in one body, and they did fear the words which had been spoken by Lachoneus, insomuch that they did repent of all their sins;
3 Nephi 2:38 And Gidgiddoni did cause that they should make weapons of war, of every kind, that they should be strong with armor, and with shields, and with bucklers, after the manner of his instructions.

3 Nephi 2:45 In the which time they did hope to destroy the robbers from off the face of the land. And thus the eighteenth year did pass away.
3 Nephi 2:47 And they durst not spread themselves upon the face of the land, insomuch that they could raise grain, lest the Nephites should come upon them and slay them;
3 Nephi 2:48 Therefore Giddianhi gave commandment unto his armies, that in this year they should go up to battle against the Nephites.
3 Nephi 2:54 But in this thing they were disappointed, for the Nephites did not fear them, but they did fear their God, and did supplicate him for protection;
3 Nephi 2:55 Therefore when the armies of Giddianhi did rush upon them, they were prepared to meet them; yea, in the strength of the Lord they did receive them; and the battle commenced in this the sixth month;
3 Nephi 2:61 And it came to pass that the armies of the Nephites did return again to their place of security.
