DC 110:7a You will discover in this quotation that the books were opened and another book was opened, which was the book of life; but the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works;
DC 110:12b To be immersed in the water, and come forth out of the water, is in the likeness of the resurrection of the dead in coming forth out of their graves; hence this ordinance was instituted to form a relationship with the ordinance of baptism for the dead, being in likeness of the dead.
