Deuteronomy 20:5 And the officers shall speak unto the people, saying, What man is there that hath built a new house, and hath not
dedicated it? let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man
dedicate it.
2 Samuel 8:11 Which also king David did
dedicate unto the Lord, with the silver and gold that he had
dedicated of all nations which he subdued;
2 Chronicles 2:4 Behold, I build a house to the name of the Lord my God, to
dedicate it to him, and to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual showbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of the Lord our God. And this ordinance shall be kept in Israel forever.
