Helaman 2:57 And thus seeing that their laws had become corrupted, and that they had become a wicked people, insomuch that they were wicked even like unto the Lamanites.

3 Nephi 4:16 And it came to pass that when the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the storm, and the tempest, and the quakings of the earth did cease -- for behold, they did last for about the space of three hours; and it was said by some that the time was greater;

3 Nephi 4:17 Nevertheless, all these great and terrible things were done in about the space of three hours; and then behold, there was darkness upon the face of the land.

DC 90:Intro SECTION 90 A conference of high priests met in Kirtland, Ohio, May 4, 1833, to consider the building of a schoolhouse for the instruction of the elders in the work of their ministry.
