1 Nephi 5:228 And then, behold, I proceed according to that which I have spoken; and this I do, that the more sacred things may be kept for the knowledge of my people.
1 Nephi 5:229 Nevertheless, I do not write anything upon plates, save it be that I think it be sacred.
Jacob 1:4 And if there were preaching which was sacred, or revelation which was great, or prophesying, that I should engrave the heads of them upon these plates, and touch upon them as much as it were possible, for Christ's sake, and for the sake of our people:

DC 101:12b and all moneys that you receive in your stewardships, by improving upon the properties which I have appointed unto you, in houses or in lands, or in cattle, or in all things save it be the holy and sacred writings, which I have reserved unto myself for holy and sacred purposes,
DC 111:4a All legal contracts of marriage made before a person is baptized into this church, should be held sacred and fulfilled.
DC 112:5b and that all governments have a right to enact such laws as in their own judgments are best calculated to secure the public interest, at the same time, however, holding sacred the freedom of conscience.
