NOTES FOR OUTREACH NOVEMBER 11 2018

Start out asking what part of the tree was alive that allowed the process of restoration to occur?

The roots.
Tell of the prayers from the dust that are the roots.  God Hath Not forgotten.

2 Nephi 2:39 And it shall be as if the fruit of thy loins had cried unto them from the dust; for I know their faith.
2 Nephi 2:40 And they shall cry from the dust; yea, even repentance unto their brethren, even after many generations have gone by them.
2 Nephi 11:83 And after they shall have been brought down low in the dust, even that they are not, yet the words of the righteous shall be written, and the prayers of the faithful shall be heard, and all those who have dwindled in unbelief, shall not be forgotten;
2 Nephi 11:84 For those who shall be destroyed shall speak unto them out of the ground, and their speech shall be low out of the dust, and their voice shall be as one that hath a familiar spirit;
2 Nephi 11:85 For the Lord God will give unto him power, that he may whisper concerning them, even as it were out of the ground; and their speech shall whisper out of the dust.

 Brief Summary to this point:

1. Nephites were remnant of Joseph
2. Jews were of scattered Israel
3. Gentiles would scatter/scourge both.
4. This land was the land of Joseph’s Inheritance.  Gentiles occupy it.  Will share in the blessing with Joseph and be numbered among them.
5. God would pour out Holy Ghost upon Gentiles, making them mighty above all.
6. God would establish this Gentile nation’s freedom as a cradle for Gospel to go back to Joseph.
7. Gospel would come to Gentiles in this land.
8. Gentiles ultimately reject the Fullness of the Gospel
9. Jesus takes Gospel from them and returns to Israel
10. Judgement upon Gentile nations, but repentance offered.
11. Remnant of Joseph like a Lion among Gentiles
12. Remnant of Joseph build a city; repentant Gentiles assist  along with some of scattered Israel.
13. The city is called ‘New Jerusalem.’  This is not Enoch’s city yet.
14. But Jesus is in the midst, power of heaven comes down, organizes the work
15. This begins the Second Time the Lord sets forth his hand to restore Israel
16. (From 3 Nephi 10)
17. IN THAT DAY, THE WORK FROM THE NEW JERUSALEM (ZION) IN AMERICA COMMENCES.
18. The Gospel goes to the Remnant of Joseph in this land
19. The Gospel goes to the dispersed of God’s people, even the Lost Tribes
20. The Gospel goes to ALL NATIONS whereby they may COME UNTO JESUS.
21. This begins the great work of Evangelism to the World and the Jews return to Jesus.
22. The lost of Israel return to Israel.
23. The gathering amazes the world.  (Jer. 23)
24. The Jews return to full faith in Jesus the Messiah.
25. The Old Jerusalem becomes, once again, a Holy City unto the Lord (Ether 6)
26. The Gospel goes to all the earth.
27. The Lord Reigns from Zion.
28. Enoch’s City returns to usher in the Millennium.
29. All bow, all confess. Satan bound
30. Nation’s flow unto Zion to Learn of Her Ways.
31. The world is at peace under the Spiritual, Emotional, Political leadership and reign of Jesus.

 

Deuteronomy 4:31 (For the Lord thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers, which he sware unto them.

Jeremiah 50:5 They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces thitherward, saying, Come, and let us join ourselves to the Lord in a perpetual covenant that shall not be forgotten.

3 Nephi 2:108 And as he hath covenanted with all the house of Jacob, even so shall the covenant wherewith he hath covenanted with the house of Jacob, be fulfilled in his own due time, unto the restoring all the house of Jacob unto the knowledge of the covenant that he hath covenanted with them;

3 Nephi 7:37 And I will shew unto thee, O house of Israel, that the Gentiles shall not have power over you, but I will remember my covenant unto you, O house of Israel, and ye shall come unto the knowledge of the fullness of my gospel.

1 Nephi 3:217 And it came to pass that when the angel had spoken these words, he said unto me, Remember thou the covenants of the Father unto the house of Israel?

1 Nephi 5:132 Behold, he loved our fathers; and he covenanted with them, yea, even Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: and he remembered the covenants which he had made;

1 Nephi 5:253 Nevertheless, when that day cometh, saith the prophet, that they no more turn aside their hearts against the Holy One of Israel, then will he remember the covenants which he made to their fathers;

2 Nephi 2:43 And the weakness of their words will I make strong in their faith, unto the remembering of my covenant which I made unto thy fathers.

2 Nephi 12:42 But behold, there shall be many at that day, when I shall proceed to do a marvelous work among them, that I may remember my covenants which I have made unto the children of men, that I may set my hand again the second time to recover my people, which are the house of Israel;

3 Nephi 9:67 And I will remember the covenant which I have made with my people, and I have covenanted with them, that I would gather them together in mine own due time;

3 Nephi 13:56 And ye need not imagine in your hearts that the words which have been spoken are vain, for behold, the Lord will remember his covenant which he hath made unto his people of the house of Israel.

3 Nephi 13:61 Yea, and ye need not any longer hiss, nor spurn, nor make game of the Jews, nor any of the remnant of the house of Israel, for behold the Lord remembereth his covenant unto them, and he will do unto them according to that which he hath sworn;

Mormon 2:49 But behold, it shall come to pass that they shall be driven and scattered by the Gentiles; and after they have been driven and scattered by the Gentiles, behold, then will the Lord remember the covenant which he made unto Abraham, and unto all the house of Israel.

Mormon 4:26 And he that shall breathe out wrath and strifes against the work of the Lord, and against the covenant people of the Lord, who are the house of Israel, and shall say, We will destroy the work of the Lord, and the Lord will not remember his covenant which he hath made unto the house of Israel, the same is in danger to be hewn down and cast into the fire; for the eternal purposes of the Lord shall roll on, until all his promises shall be fulfilled.

Mormon 4:28 Yea, behold I say unto you, that those saints who have gone before me, who have possessed this land, shall cry; yea, even from the dust will they cry unto the Lord; and as the Lord liveth, he will remember the covenant which he hath made with them.

 

The Consistent message of the prophets:  God who scattered Israel shall gather them together again.

Deuteronomy 30:3 That then the Lord thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath scattered thee.

Deuteronomy 30:4 If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the Lord thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee;

Nehemiah 1:9 But if ye turn unto me, and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set my name there.

Isaiah 43:5 Fear not; for I am with thee; I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;

Isaiah 52:15 So shall he gather many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him; for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.

17 At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the Lord, and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the Lord, to Jerusalem; neither shall they walk anymore after the imagination of their evil heart.

Jeremiah 23:3 And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.

Jeremiah 30:3 For, lo, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the Lord; and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.

Captivity

Psa 126:1

John 11:47 - John 11:57

DC 45:3f And this I have told you concerning Jerusalem; and when that day shall come, shall a remnant be scattered among all nations, but they shall be gathered again; but they shall remain until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

Zephaniah 3:20 At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you; for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the Lord.

Psalms 14:7 Oh that Zion were established out of heaven, the salvation of Israel. O Lord, when wilt thou establish Zion? When the Lord bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, Israel shall be glad.

Zechariah 8:7 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Behold, I will gather my people from the east country, and from the west country;

Zechariah 8:13 And it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I gather you, and ye shall be a blessing; fear not, but let your hands be strong.

Zechariah 10:8 I will hiss for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have increased.

 

 

1 Nephi 3:2 For behold, it came to pass after my father had made an end of speaking the words of his dream, and also of exhorting them to all diligence, he spake unto them concerning the Jews, that after they should be destroyed, even that great city Jerusalem, and many be carried away captive into Babylon, according to the own due time of the Lord they should return again; yea, even be brought backout of captivity;

Highway
Isaiah 11:16 And there shall be a highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.
Isaiah 19:23 In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians.

Egypt was nothing…

Jeremiah 23:7 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that they shall no more say, The Lord liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
8 But, The Lord liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.

Jeremiah 23:2 - Jeremiah 23:12
2 Therefore thus saith the Lord God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them; behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the Lord.
3 And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.
4 And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them; and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the Lord.
5 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.
6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely; and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
7 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that they shall no more say, The Lord liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;

 

Finally:

Zechariah 13:6 And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.
