The Book of Mormon Contains Hiphel Verbs
Hiphil Verbs
Hebrew has different verb forms than English.
One type of Hebrew verb is a Hiphil Verb, which describes things 'caused' to happen.
The Bible has Hiphil verb usage and so does the Book of Mormon.
For instance (from https://hebrew.billmounce.com/BasicsBiblicalHebrew-30.pdf)
For example, the verb מָלַךְ means "he was king" or "he reigned" in the Qal stem.
The Hiphil form is הִמְלִיךְ and it means "he caused to reign" or "he made (someone) king."
Notice how the key words "caused" and "made" are used to express the causative action of the Hiphil stem.
